Dubai-founded spend management and financial technology platform Qashio has officially opened its European headquarters in Dublin, announcing plans to create 50 new jobs across sales, marketing, product, software engineering, and operations over the next three years, as part of a broader global expansion strategy targeting enterprise clients operating across borders.
Silicon Republic reported that the Dublin operation was founded in 2021 by Lydia Foott and Armin Moradi, with five global offices established over the past 12 months. The European hub will support customers across Europe and strengthen the company's capacity to deliver spend management and financial technology solutions at scale.
As part of the expansion, Qashio is also developing Qashio Labs in Dublin, an R&D-focused function designed to support ongoing platform and product innovation. Kevin Gallagher, who joined Qashio in early 2026, is leading the European operation as general manager for Europe.
Gallagher said: "Our expansion into Ireland marks a pivotal moment for Qashio. We chose Ireland for its exceptional tech talent and world-class ecosystem, allowing us to build a local presence rooted in security and long-term trust."
Gallagher added that with the economic landscape remaining unpredictable, businesses in Ireland need reliable tools for resilience and financial control, and that Qashio is embedding itself in the market to provide on-the-ground support and value that the market currently lacks.
Michael Lohan, chief executive of IDA Ireland, said the investment is a strong endorsement of Ireland's attractiveness as a location for innovative, high-growth financial technology companies looking to scale internationally, adding that the 50 new jobs will add to Ireland's vibrant fintech ecosystem.
