Origina, a Dublin-based IT services and consulting firm, has announced a significant expansion of its Irish operations, creating 350 new jobs according to a Silicon Republic report.
The expansion will contribute up to €28m to Ireland’s economy and underscores the company’s commitment to operational excellence in software support, maintenance, and enterprise technology operations.
The new roles will span software engineering, security, data and AI, and enterprise technology operations. Alongside the hiring, Origina is investing in a new, larger office in Dublin’s Sandyford area, which will serve as its central hub for product development.
Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke, TD, commented: “Today’s announcement not only represents significant job creation within the Irish market and excellent opportunities for our homegrown talent, but it also reinforces our position as one of the largest and most important tech hubs in Europe.”
Minister of State with responsibility for Small Business, Retail and Employment Alan Dillon, TD, added that the expansion is a “huge achievement” for the home-grown Irish company.
Tomás O’Leary, CEO of Origina, noted that the project was “made possible with the support from Enterprise Ireland.” He highlighted the strategic value of the expansion in reinforcing Ireland’s technology sector and scaling operational capabilities.
Enterprise Ireland’s annual report notes that client companies employed more than 232,000 workers in 2025, with 12,608 new jobs created during the year and 69 percent of new roles outside Dublin. CEO Jenny Melia said that 87 percent of client companies are integrating or planning to integrate AI into operations, underlining the growing emphasis on digitalisation and operational excellence.
