Aberdeen-based exterior and specialist cleaning company NEREC Ltd has successfully delivered its first project in Ireland, completing a commercial roof pressure wash in Dublin ahead of scheduled maintenance works, marking a deliberate step in the company's strategy to scale operations beyond its Scottish base.
Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce reported that the Ireland project was secured through an existing client relationship established during a commercial roof cleaning contract in Westhill, Scotland, where NEREC's self-sufficient pressure washing setup and quality of delivery prompted the England-based client to extend the relationship to its wider property portfolio.
The Irish project was executed using NEREC's trailer-mounted pressure washing system, transported to site by a two-person team, enabling delivery without reliance on site utilities, a capability the company has identified as central to its cross-border operational model.
Despite deploying a team and full equipment setup to Ireland, NEREC continued to deliver multiple projects across Scotland during the same period, spanning domestic and large-scale commercial works.
Ross Skene, business development and marketing manager at NEREC Ltd, said: "This was a great opportunity for us to show what we can do outside of our usual area. The client had already seen the standard of our work in Scotland, and being trusted to deliver the same level of service in Ireland is a strong reflection of the team and how we operate."
Skene added that the expansion highlights the flexibility built into the business, noting that the company can take its equipment, processes, and standards anywhere and still deliver.
NEREC's continued investment in bespoke pressure washing systems capable of operating independently of site utilities positions the firm to pursue further contracts across the UK and Ireland, supporting clients operating national and international property portfolios.
