MegaGroup Logistic Services UK has opened a 101,000 sq ft distribution centre at Manston Lane in Leeds to fulfil orders for Bosta UK and epco. It gives two product businesses a UK fulfilment site built for next-day delivery and higher stock availability, replacing epco’s 25,000 sq ft Leeds warehouse and supplementing Bosta’s Netherlands-based supply route.
MegaGroup Logistic Services UK is part of MegaGroup, whose European headquarters is in the Netherlands. Bosta serves the industry, building services, irrigation, swimming pool and livestock markets, while epco operates in the UK industrial thermoplastics market.
Bosta previously supplied the UK from MegaGroup’s European Distribution Centre in the Netherlands, which meant longer delivery times for some requirements. It can now hold its most popular products in the UK, while still using the European centre for its full portfolio.
epco had outgrown its 25,000 sq ft warehouse at Felnex Square, Leeds, where growth and an expanding range strained stock availability and service levels.
MegaGroup assessed 36 potential sites across greater Leeds before choosing Manston Lane for its transport links, UK customer reach and room to grow.
The former print works needed a full office fit-out, new warehouse flooring and racking, lighting and electrical upgrades, data cabling, and new systems to support order processing, picking, packing and distribution.
Mitchell Knowles, UK operations manager, said: “This transformation has brought significant changes to our working environment, processes and workflows, but it has also created an opportunity to build a stronger, more efficient operation.”
James Grainger, UK country director, said: “Customers at times want different things, and we’ll be able to tailor those different things to the customer requirements. We can be much closer to our customers.”
The market is tight. Savills reported that available supply of prime mid-box units in Leeds fell 31 per cent year on year in the first quarter of 2026, leaving 1.2 years of supply.
For the sector, adding UK-held stock alongside a continental hub signals that distributors are paying for proximity when customers require faster, scheduled delivery.
