Earlier this year, Griffith College’s Faculty of Law was named the winner of the Operational Excellence in Third-Level Education Award at the Operational Excellence Awards 2025, recognised for its outstanding commitment to academic and operational innovation.
The Faculty demonstrated exceptional leadership in integrating digital transformation, blended learning, and sustainability initiatives to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and overall student success.
Judges highlighted the Faculty’s strategic adoption of Lean Six Sigma principles, which streamlined academic delivery, optimised processes, and strengthened staff development programmes.
“Griffith College Faculty of Law impressed us with its data-driven approach, flexible learning modes, and tangible improvements in student experience. Its focus on operational efficiency, innovation, and sustainable practices sets a high standard in higher education,” the judges noted.
The programme’s award-winning initiatives, from enhanced digital platforms to strong industry engagement and award-winning extracurricular activities, further distinguished the Faculty as a leader in legal education. These initiatives not only improved operational performance but also demonstrated measurable impact on student outcomes, reinforcing the institution’s reputation for excellence.
This recognition reflects broader trends across the Operational Excellence Awards, where entrants are increasingly evaluated on verifiable impact, robust governance, and alignment of operational performance with strategic objectives.
With momentum building from 2025’s winners, attention now turns to the 2026 awards cycle. Who will set the next benchmark for operational excellence in higher education?
Entries will be open until 6 February 2026, with finalists announced on 25 March, leading to the 2026 awards gala on 27 May 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry.
