Australian IT distributor Dicker Data has appointed US cybersecurity vendor Huntress as a distribution partner across Australia and New Zealand, expanding the range of enterprise-grade security operations tools available to its network of resellers and managed service providers across the region.
ARN reported that the arrangement includes Huntress' Agentic Security Platform and AI-Centric SOC solutions, providing Dicker Data's partners with access to endpoint detection and response, identity threat detection and response, identity and endpoint security posture management, managed SIEM, and security awareness training capabilities.
The two organisations are also working together to simplify Microsoft licence management for partners and their customers, reducing administrative complexity within existing channel workflows.
Huntress selected Dicker Data as its preferred distribution partner in the region based on the distributor's ability to meet partners where they already operate, its knowledge of the A/NZ market, and its established network of value-added resellers and managed service providers.
Reece Appleton, Asia Pacific regional director at Huntress, said: "There is an urgent need to arm A/NZ businesses with security capabilities that were once only available to large enterprises. With their deep cyber security expertise, partner reach in the A/NZ market, and commitment to the channel, Dicker Data is the ideal partner to accelerate that mission."
Pennie Stevens, software general manager at Dicker Data, said the distributor's partners require cybersecurity solutions that are both powerful and easy to deliver to customers, adding that by combining Huntress' expertise with Dicker Data's partner enablement and support, the company is helping partners stay focused on winning more business while delivering the security outcomes their customers depend on.
