Two established Irish automotive companies, GT Group and Ted Brennan Motors (trading as Ted4Parts), have merged to create Evolve, a new force in sustainable vehicle recovery and repair. The business spans over 15 acres and operates a fleet of 70 recovery vehicles, forming a €15 million enterprise designed to meet the evolving demands of Ireland’s vehicle services sector.
Combining more than a century of expertise, Evolve offers a fully integrated solution that covers vehicle recovery, in-house repairs, recycling, and green parts supply. The merger is aimed at improving operational performance while supporting sustainability and the circular economy.
Richard Brennan, CEO of Evolve and former head of Ted4Parts, explained that the merger unites capabilities to build a smarter, more efficient service model focused on connected circularity and governance excellence.
“By uniting our capabilities, we’re building a stronger, smarter service model that supports our partners’ sustainability goals while improving operational performance across the board, customer focused through connected circularity,” Brennan said.
Darren Ferguson, COO and former managing director of GT Group, highlighted that the combined operations enable end-to-end services, faster processing, and strengthened partnerships across the industry.
“The merger allows us to deliver a truly end-to-end solution – recovery, repairs inhouse and fast track them to our best in class partners, recycling and reuse. It’s a major step forward for the Irish automotive sector, and we are proud to be leading that change,” Ferguson said.
Evolve’s enhanced capacity allows for the efficient recovery and reuse of more vehicles and parts, reducing waste and supporting environmentally conscious practices. The company is also planning additional investments in staff, facilities, and technology to expand operations and reinforce Ireland’s position in sustainable vehicle management.
