Operational Excellence in Hospitality, Food & Beverage

This award recognises organisations operating within the UK's hospitality, tourism, leisure, entertainment, food and beverage sectors that have demonstrated outstanding operational excellence over the past 12 months. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission. Judges will be looking for clear evidence that your organisation has successfully delivered operational excellence, paying particular attention to the criteria below.

• Organisation Background: Please provide a brief description of your organisation, such as when it was established, the number of employees, the products or services provided, and any relevant industry achievements, certifications or accreditations.
• Operational Efficiency: Please provide a description of the projects, programmes or operational initiatives undertaken over the past 12 months.
• Innovation: Please include details of any innovative approaches, technologies, or methodologies employed to improve operational performance. This may include (but is not limited to) Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, continuous improvement programmes, automation, digital technologies, process innovation, new service or production methods, or innovative operational practices.
• Improving Standards: Describe how operational excellence has helped maintain or improve quality, safety, compliance, product or service standards, and overall operational performance. Include evidence of measurable improvements wherever possible.
• Budgetary Efficiency: Detail how operational excellence has contributed to improved cost management and resource utilisation.
• Supporting Facts & Statements: Please include any additional information that supports your submission, such as performance data and KPIs, customer testimonials, case studies, industry recognition or awards, independent assessments, before-and-after performance results, or any other evidence demonstrating the impact of your operational excellence initiatives.
