Quebec-based print-on-demand and embroidery company Printeez has leased a 34,020 sq ft industrial facility in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, establishing its first US headquarters and manufacturing hub, according to the Herald-Tribune.

The facility is located at 11125 Gatewood Drive in Gates Creek Corporate Center, a newly built 112,914 sq ft industrial property developed by Richland Capital Holdings.

The site will support direct-to-garment printing, direct-to-film production, and embroidery services for American customers, which Printeez has identified as its fastest-growing market.

CEO Shawn Sckoropad said: "We are incredibly excited to establish our US manufacturing footprint in the Lakewood Ranch area. This new facility represents a major milestone for Printeez, allowing us to bring our premium garment printing operations closer to our American customers while contributing to the vibrant economic growth of Southwest Florida."

Sckoropad added that the Lakewood Ranch location was selected in part for its infrastructure and growing workforce, calling it an ideal base for distributing products efficiently across the United States.

He said the facility would allow the company to control its entire supply chain natively and provide faster, more seamless service to American clients.

The expansion marks the first time Printeez will operate manufacturing and fulfilment on US soil, giving the company direct oversight of production quality, order processing, and last-mile delivery without reliance on cross-border logistics.

Printeez expects to begin US production this summer. Concurrently, the company is building a separate 41,000 sq ft production and warehouse facility in Quebec, scaling its Canadian operations in parallel with its US expansion.

The dual-market build-out positions Printeez to manage increasing order volumes across North America while reducing dependency on cross-border fulfilment, with direct implications for lead times, cost efficiency, and service consistency at scale.

Lakewood Ranch was chosen in part for its workforce availability and logistics infrastructure, factors that align with the company's broader strategy of embedding operational capability close to end markets rather than centralising production in a single geography.

The move also reflects a wider trend among customised apparel and on-demand manufacturers, who are increasingly prioritising regional production hubs over consolidated fulfilment models to meet rising customer expectations for speed and reliability.
